DXI 56 – Luna/Moon
DXI 56 – Luna/Moon | The Moon-issue has five different covers. Its contents start with “PSYCHODELIC SUNDAY” an editorial by the Italian photographer Patrizia Moschetti. Among other contents, in this issue we can discover “THE SKIES DO NOT FAL” a tribute to Hypatia de Alejandría, astronomer, philosopher and mathematician, made in collage form by Marco Laborda or “A LUNAR LIFE” an interior design project carried out by Cristina La Porta with the collaboration of the contemporary furniture company Teulat. A Reflection around the different lighting and furniture design projects that are inspired by the moon and that are between science and poetry developed by Noemí Clavería.
In this issue we publish the editorial “POLVO LUNAR” with photographs of María Jett with the Alejandra Segura model. Illustrator Cheles Martinez presents a series of portraits of two pioneer astronauts: Yuri Gagarin & Neil Armstrong. Pablo Ruiz presents an interview with Santi Sánchez, founder of “Rosebud”, a publishing agency with important creative projects that have won awards. We have an essay by Azucena Abril dedicated to selenites and the enigmatic magnetism that the moon has exerted on the imaginary of the human being. An interesting conversation between Joana Caplliure, Anja Krakowski, Antonio Ballesteros, Álvaro de los Ángeles and Juan Luis Toboso who reflect on editorial publishing as a contemporary artistic practice. The “HUMANITURE” project created by the designer Paco Caballer presents us with a reflection-utopian environment to asexual beings of human appearance with protuberances that perform tasks of domestic objects at our service
